Nickthesteam... you cook as well as build model boats? Me too!

TerryH... if will be using a 3D printer you will most likely need a computer, laptop or desktop. Depending on what you are doing will drive how powerful it will need to be.

Will you be creating your own model or just downloading and printing pre-made models?

The Ender Neo probably comes with the slicer software (to load on a computer) which creates the GCODE files.

3D files, usually .STL and .OBJ, are resized or scaled up/down before they are sent to printer which typically uses .GCODE (or "go codes) to translate the 3D file to print the item. Kind of like putting a piece of paper on a copy machine and use reduce or enlarge.

Slicer (configured for a specific printer) software is often used to convert the 3D file to a GCODE file.

One can find "viewers" to look at the 3D file or even free 3D file editor such as Meshmixer to edit files. (Microsoft has "3D Viewer" in 10 but not 11. Free download on Microsoft. )

(Note that the GCODE file mentioned above is not a 3D file, but a directions file like used in NC machining.)

I hope this simple explanation shows the usual process of how 3D files are often printed and avoids misinformation on who to seek out to do this.

Stephen: DiStefan 3D may be able to help a bit or scale one up for you? Or at least his 3D views on his page could be a a help.

Nickthesteam - that is a pretty primitive model (free) on Thingiverse I doubt it would look good in 1/24 scale. However there are other sites some better ones (i.e., CGtrader). There is another one on Thingiverse (see link) that looks better but was created for wargaming. Not sure how that one would look enlarged.

Stephen T - As for dimensions you might be able to get them from the linked PDF. There are plenty of other drawings of that gun out there.
