This Midwest Maine Down East yacht is sporting a newly painted hull in Midnight Blue.
Originally built and painted with a white hull, after twenty years it needed an upgrade.
The Midnight Blue sets off the wooden deck work very nicely. Dannyboy is the original builder from whom I bought it from about five years ago. He laid the Cherry deck down by gluing each strip with CA and as he says, “ His fingers too!”
The added cockpit roof and Happy Family figures show off this fine model very well. Looking forward to seeing it in the water in a few weeks.
