Great afternoon at the lake today
How nice that your mom was interested. I do find with the ladies, they can decide that something would not suit them, rather than see what it is like.
I, after 10 years, got my wife to ride out on our club 7 1/4 inch railway ride, it is 3/4 of a mile long and in woodland etc.
It is a well loved ride by the locals who come in on our public running days and love it.
She said she liked it but refused to come again! That's the female sex for you! I think she is moore worried about what her friends might say!
Apart from the Christmas when partners come along we are predominently male.
One of the wives has her own electric loco which she rides behind regularly. In another club I belong to a very active member got pregnant!!! She has 2 children now and happily married to an engineer.
