People, the world is out of joint . . .
Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring.
As a pensioner, you still have the opportunity to hide away in the craft room.
Which is also a possibility . . .you can cycle out into the countryside and have a picnic with your wife . . .if the weather is ok.
Otherwise, move your picnic into the parlour!
There are so many possibilities, you just have to find them!

Everything indicates that YES there is some kind of lockdown with China internet just like Doug mentioned.
I still don’t understand how China can do that since there is so many ways that people from any part of the world can communicate with just about anybody else.

I ordered a Theramin at the end of last month, I got no confirmation email, no answer to my follow up email so I raised a dispute with Pay Pal who promptly refunded my money. 2 hours later I get a text from Yodel saying my parcel has cleared customs and is on it's way to their Liverpool depot. Perhaps there is some sort of internet clampdown China side. I have emailed the vendor again requesting an invoice so I can pay (again). It will be interesting to see how quick they respond now there is money involved...

If the item was marked as 'In stock' when you ordered it, then Ebay (.com or .UK or wherever) has already imported it from China. Thus there is no need for further communication with the Chinese producer.
I was referring to ordering directly from China.
