Saturday 6-21-25, at the White Bear Lake Calssic and Antique Boat Show
The Edina Model Yacht Club was again invited to set up a display at the annual White Bear Lake Classic and Antique Boat show. We had a 30' X 10' tent with 30 boats on display (plus one scratch built 3D printed RC snowblower ... providing battery power to run fans all day). The Classic and Antique show had 65 beautiful full-size boats being displayed. Despite it being HOT, windy, and muggy all day, there was a good crowd of people attending the event. Our display generated a lot of interest all day long.The last picture is our club president.

So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.
