Out of curiosity I looked at that item on Ebay. A lot of pieces, motors (3), brackets, joints, shafts, props, stuffing boxes, rudders, links, arms... all metal. Shipped from Hong Kong. I can see why it is that expensive.

Today I saw on ebay a triple motor setup just for that kit! But at $120 I thought it was a little spendy for a $30 dollar kit. I will probably do it "semi" scale with a single motor bur still looking for ideas.๐Ÿ˜Š

In a recent post I mentioned something about my 1/35 scale model of my WWII LCM (plastic kit) and the conversion to RC. What is the beam of the hull where the motors go? Possibly about 3" (75mm)? There are electronics (ESC's, motors, batteries small enough to fit, even multiple props.

Good afternoon Captains, I'm going to try and convert the subject to R/C. Probably as a single motor, possibly a dual...don't think I could work a triple?? Anyway I would like some ideas as to motor sizes for such a project or links to builds some of you may have done. Any info would be helpful. I've got a deadline mid Sept. for the local club meet. Bring a warship model to the meet that no one in the club has see. i.e. bring something new.
