A cold blustery day for myself and my Picket

Thank you hermank and DWBrinkman. It was well needed and i'm off to the clubhouse to carry on some renovation work tomorrow morning. This is the smaller pond that i use as our main club pond is empty till late March. Have my battery on charge again and will see about a short sail tomorrow afternoon. I had a maiden of my little airboat too that i'll post shortly 😎

Congratulations on your escape from the hospital!
What a great pond/venue you have for boating.
Thanks for sharing.

So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

A cold blustery day for myself and my Picket

After being between bed and hospital the last 17 days i'm finally back out on the first day of a fitness programme.

What better way than to spend at the pond with my late 1940's Picket boat.

Was a lovely 2 hour sail though near the end i ended up setting my trims up and letting her sail solo so i could warm my hands
