That esc was sold in the UK branded as either macgregor or multiplex and when powering it on it acted like a micro switch with no throttle till just over 50% then full throttle. I had bought 10 thinking i was getting a good price though they ended up in the bin as they where unusable. Got them for ยฃ60

If this is the esc it appears to be they have absolutely no low end response. I seem to recall their throttle start point is half throttle. I have an unused one Iโll give away for the price of shipping. They might work fine for FEโs but I canโt use them.

A good solid brushed esc for less than ยฃ5 is one of these. I use them in all my brushed boats from scale to speedboats and they are fantastic. 320amp? No they certainly are not though I've pulled 60amp safely out of them on a 3s lipo at full throttle with no air flow and never had an issue. They are waterproof too. Fwd/Rev they are 50/50 and can be programmed on a generic program card. I've had 1 out of maybe 50 fail and that was my own error.
Highly recommended. My second cheap recommendation is IDST 70amp Bluetooth esc. It connects to an app so you can set everything up exactly how you want. It allows you to adjust whilst you sail and gives good telemetry feedback live
