No worries! Hope the video gave you an idea of the speed that can be achieved! The actual.model was built over 50years ago and refurbished during COVID.

Hi I have a ProDrive 1000kv brushless motor with a three bladed propeller and 3cell LiPo. The ESC is a water cooled Shark rated at 50 amps. Hope this helps.

@chugalone100 Thanks for that and very much appreciated, personally I find the marks from the jaws of the vice difficult to come to terms with, and have tried to remove them with steel wool. Regards, Gary.

@GaryLC GARY LC,

That brass rudder is a beautiful piece of engineering and craftsmanship.
The brass work looks absolutely first class, and the alignment between the rudder assembly and propeller setup appears spot on.

I especially admire the clean soldering and the attention to mechanical detail.
It is always impressive to see model engineering done to this standard, where both functionality and scale appearance come together so naturally.

Outstanding workmanship.

Yes, that is not a bad looking boat and it appears to be in reasonable condition. I can see the control gear motor, battery, and radio gear have been removed. My question is what ever happened to the RUDDER, it is missing and there is no sign that it ever had one in the first place? Mind, that is a relatively easy problem to sort out. Regards, Gary.

What Engine? Vosper RAF Crash Tender 34"

Hi Folks.
Lucky find on FB Marketplace. In nice condition, be great to get her 'seaworthy'.
Knowing very little about modern electric engines, could you guys kindly advise on a suitable engine / batteries etc?
Laymen's terms would be good 🙂
