I've printed these 2 over the past month using PetG, PLA and TPU on a cheap ANYCUBIC KOBRA X. Both models found on makerworld, (thanks to the uploaders there!). The tug is about 18" long and the battleship about 3 ft. Stock settings for all materials and no real problems to speak of. Keep at it, definitely worth the effort.

3d printing is great isn't it, 1 minute it's all good, so easy, then for what seems like no reason, things just don't work. It's so much trial and error getting to the sweet spot for your printer and the specific material but you'll get there. If its ONLY the PetG that's giving you issues, try a search for settings for PetG with your specific machine and see what works for other folk.
You'll be up and grinning in no time!

A mon avis juste un problème de reglage...quelle est la marque et la référence de ton imprimante, aprés il faut régler la vitesse l'épaisseur de la couche.. le plus simple est de prendre les réglages préconisés par le fabricant ...à tester pour du PETG
Epaisseur couche 0.025 voir 0.010 ( temps plus long mais meilleur aspect...)
Durée exposition 8
vitesse levage 65 mm/mn
distance de levage 5 mm
quelques réglages que j'utilise avec une K1C...et ça marche très bien....mais derrière il reste un véritable travail de finition en enduit...

I feel like the experience making a model boat using my 3D printer has ended up like the mythical ouzelum bird or a hamster on it's wheel.
I'm going around in circles
one step forward and three back .
I purchase a roll of PETG from what I have been told using it should be easy-peasy . Not So!
It just isn't giving results that are halfway okay .
So what is the problem ?
The PETG isn't bonding 100% I have the printer turned full up.
PLA + was working so much better the only problem loss of detail .
Conclusion :
Do some more PLA testing
Tweek the settings.
Try printing at a slightly larger sise.
I won't give up Col
