Scale sizes ???

I have found out that 1/16th figures are approx 110/120 mm(4.25 inches)tall, and TAMIYA do some german WW2 figures that could be adapted, as to crew uniform look on this web site www.hslmouldings.co.uk/ as they do a 1/24 Raf crew... Regards Bob J

Scale sizes ???

Just on that subject, I would also like to crew my 34", but the figures I have sen are ridiculously expensive and look really bad! A nice model can be ruined with stupid looking figures, anybody got any idea's? What would the height of a figure be if the scale is 1/16th? I was thinking of raiding the kids toys to see what I can find, and then fabricate into what I want. I was thinking of the wwf wrestling figures! What would the uniform be like for Fireboat crew of that period?
Thanks,
Paul
