Going quiet for a while...

No John, it was Neville's; NPJ!
Unfortunately he started a new thread 'Bit of a problem' instead of just adding to the the old one. 🤔

I've just copied your post to where it belongs, along with my reservations about your proposed 'way to go'.
Cheers, Doug 😎
How are things?

Re the leaking boat problem. I would cut away the section between the stem and first bulkhead/frame. Replace with new wood. Then pour the resin/varnish into that space. No need for cocktail shaking ( unless you like watching wife ) just keep turning so the resin/varnish runs around all the seam/joints in that section until it sets.👍

Going quiet for a while...

Hi all,
forgive me if I seem to go quiet for a while. I am trying to finish the master pattern for a 1/6th scale Vincent Black Shadow motorbike kit and it's at the stage where I'm having to check everything to make sure it's a) right and b) fits, so I'll be singularly pre-occupied with that for the forthcoming weeks, until it goes off to various places for production. Although quite why the person lined up to build the first and photograph it for instructions thinks it'll take three months I can't imagine!

Cheers,
Martin
