Scissors

Thanks Nerys. I've just taken delivery of the 'craft snips' as recommended by Fred and initial tests show they are up to the job so far.
I will bear your suggestion in mind.

Scissors

Having been involved in the handicraft business for a good number of years, decent scissors are something that figured high on the list of necessities. I always found that scissors made by a firm called Fiskars were way above any other make . They could be relied upon to actually cut unlike so many of their counterparts.

Cheers, Nerys.

Thanks. The first time I copied I left "item number" in. Now I just pasted the number, I've found it!

Copy and paste the number Steve.
It worked for me.
I cannot promise to finish one project before starting another. I know, I tried.

Sorry Fred, EBay doesn't seem to recognise that item number.
Can you send me the link please?

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

Scissors

The best scissors I have found yet for CLEANLY snipping rigging thread etc., are kitchen scissors.
Problem is, they are big and difficult to get into small places, but far more importantly, they live in the kitchen and I often incur the wrath of my wife when I forget to put them back!
If they weren't so big I would get a similar pair for myself.
Can any of you sailing chaps help please?
