Hints and Tips

I used to have a business in the early days of LED importing tubes, down lights, panel lighting etc into Australia. Panel lighting was great for that though not as intense a light. My garage was fitted with 25w Led tubes which gave really good light. I wish I had some of those deformable lights back then. Look great.

"You will probably also need to get an E27 pendant, which I found impossible to buy locally,"
Funny that! They're all over the shop here!😎
Good idea Steve👍
I have a 150W 6000k LED central ceiling light and LED daylight strip lights under the shelves above my benches. Have also converted some portable halogen lamps to use LEDs.
Except the 300W halogen I use to speed up drying and hardening when using resins or while painting😉
Cheers, Doug 😎
Young at heart 😉 Slightly older in other places.😊 Cheers Doug

Hints and Tips

Ever since I converted half my garage into a workshop, I have had problems getting enough light on the subject. I was using all sorts of different lights, angle poise desk lamps etc, but still struggling.
I have just installed this
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120W-LED-Garage-Light-Deformable-Ceiling-Light-192-LED-For-Workshop-E26-E27-Base/362883360619?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=632016895593&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
It's now as good as working in daylight and I have not found need for my old angle poise.
You can get them cheaper from China, which I did initially, but I had to return it as it was not the item I ordered.
You will probably also need to get an E27 pendant, which I found impossible to buy locally, but they are freely available on the interweb for a couple of quid.
Well worth the investment!
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure?
