Many congratulations on your promotion Mark. When things are back to normal we must get together to discuss suitable operations for our respective Squadrons.
Thanks for the info on the Fred Olsen ships, I've been wondering where ships are hiding away, I imagine anywhere with cheap harbour dues.

All the best. Captain Nerys. SW and Bristol Channel Squadron.

Oh lord!😮
You know Marky, sometimes I wish I didn't have such a vivid imagination🙈
I shall have nightmares tonight about Toulouse Lautrec and The Hunchback of Notre Dame singing The Maurice Chevalier Songbook!!🙈🙊

Actually the 'goldie' turned out to be more of tawny port colour.
I went for a Dufftown, The Singleton. 12 years, very smooth and tasty😋

Doug enjoy your little goldie, alas no-one owned a movie camera in those days ,my grandpa also used to do a wee turn as Toulouse Lautrec he would get on his knees with a pair of slippers tied on as if he had short legs and sing "thank heaven for little girls" with a really bad French accent.no telly in our house back then.
Didn't notice the promotion (more hours less money) until you mentioned it.
Night watch report 4 of the Fred Olson line fleet anchored in the firth of forth for the duration .

Absolutely Rick 👍
Glad it brought back good memories to you too.

One of the primary responsibilities of any 'commander😉' is maintaining the morale of his troops and sailors in adverse circumstances!!
