Seems to have a lot of box info on the kit. It also led me to realise that S130 is only about 35 miles from where I live! I'm going to try and arrange a trip to the boatyard and see the real thing. Anyone coming to Cornwall via train can see the boatyard about 15-20 minutes after the Royal Albert bridge at Devonport, it's to starboard as you cross the high ground and a great view of the yard is always visible. The S130 website seems to have expired, so I'll try and find out what state the restoration is at.

PS: I think the life jackets are a mix of matt yellow and matt grey.
Only use for 'Insignia Yellow' I can think of would be rank badges of the crew.
Hope you've all got some very fine brushes!!🤔

This is not an expert opinion - I'm just starting on the journey with Scnellboot, but, could that colour be the base for the life jackets on the crew - before heavy 'fouling' - maybe. Just a thought

Starting one of these soon and in my search for good reference material, there are numerous titles all with good and bad reviews. Can any of those in the know,maybe from building one of these, point me to a good tome? Predominantly I would like good technical line drawings and photos so that I can model it as well as I can. Will RC it over a year or 3 and greatest thrill is getting it as near original as possible. Thanks all
