Lockdown reading.

Nerys, my son got my copy from, York Military Books. It was £13.99 including postage. RRP. £19.99. So don't get ripped off. I never realised there was so many varieties of un-motorised boats.
Cheers Colin.

Lockdown reading.

Looks as if there's another book to add to my library. I have the Chatham Directory, Roger Finch's and Edgar March's book on inshore craft, but knowing Basil Greenhill, this is a must. I'll be looking at Abe books tonight.

Cheers, Nerys

Lockdown reading.

Hi Colin,
Ref :- "I may end up building a simple string and stick boat".
That would be interesting, hope to see a build log.

Happy reading Colin.

If it looks right it probably is.

Lockdown reading.

I have just received a gift from my son, an absolutely wonderful book showing boats of all types of sailing and rowing, from around the UK coast. Over 200 pages of information and plans as well as photos.
Looks like I may end up building a simple string and stick boat.
Cheers Colin.
