Aw shucks🤔
Was afraid of that Ian.
Good luck at the model chuff chuff shop🤞
EzeKote may be of less interest to rail modellers, unless they are building an Alpine Railway!
All those FG mountains 😮
Maybe the shop can order you some though for their next delivery🤞

Thanks Doug,
Not much joy with Redipak. ( They were a model shop in Johannesburg in the 1970's Redleys Carlton Centre famous for Sataba Radios a Futabe in disguise) Now totally useless, Their distributor base is out of date by about 10 years!
I have dropped an email to DM.
Also, I know a model shop that keeps DM stuff for Model Railways , so I am going to ask.

Rick,
ANY model boat building Blog is a good Blog👍😊
Don't rush it, no one here will be pushing you.
Take your time on the build and take a few pics and make some notes as you go.
Then you can put a Blog entry together later at your leisure.
We all had to learn Blogging as well😉
Any questions just ASK! Someone here will have the answer😊
Bon chance mon ami👍

I Too have used Eze Coat!
It works just great and no smell!

A bit costly! But, well worth it!

Thanks to recommendations from Doug (RNinMunich)!

Cheers, Ed

I have also started using Eze-Kote since Doug's recommendation. I meant to try it ages ago but was put off by cost, but as Doug says, worth every penny.

Hate to say it Rick, but
Told ya so!! 😁
Very glad it works as well for you as it does for me👍
Any pics of the results?
BTW: thinned with ca 20% water it makes a great wood sealer as well😉
Just takes a little longer to dry, but soaks in well and toughens soft woods like balsa etc.
Yes it costs a bit more but ultimately you save by not having to chuck the brush away each time. Just wash in warm water and a drop of washing up liquid😊

I ordered a bottle of eze kote and it arrived yesterday.
I went to the work room to try and after reading the instruction coated my new boat and left it to dry.
An hour later a lite sanding and another coat it looked like I had used two part finishing epoxy.
This product works and although a little costly it saves time on waiting to sand and filling for the next coating.
