I used a geared motor driver through a Buck step down converter that allowed me to adjust the radar speed to the exact rpm.

I use 1:1000 a geared 6v motor driving a shaft inside a fixed tube. Silicone tube joins the motor shaft to the radar drive shaft. The rotation is at around 15 RPM.

One of our club members has got himself a 1/12 scale Lifeboat, and he would like to get the Radar working any ideas??
