"You can never have enough clamps"....too true!
Lidl in the UK are selling some really good clamps at the moment. I picked some up last time they were selling them and they are good quality too πŸ‘πŸ‘.

    Hi Nerys,

I only moved this thread to the correct place.
It was Colin that replied to Brian's post.

If as Martin thinks, you are building a wooden frame with ply skin. I always use Titebond, they do a fast drying version. Martin says to use pins to hold the skin in place whilst drying, you will find that a multiplicity of cramps or even spring clothes pegs are useful as well as cable ties.

    Cheers, Nerys

Well Brian, a few pictures will help no end, what type of boat is it and the method of construction.
If I am right its a bulkheads, keel and chine with sheet ply outer skins, then the choice of glue is often personal to the modeller.
I tend to use alyphatic wood glue and pins or clamps for the basic construction.
Followed by a skin of Ezekote and super fine glass cloth for the Hull.
Other members will offer you different options as we all have personal preferences.
I hope this gives you some help, but never be afraid to ask for help or advice.
    Cheers Colin.
