Thank you all for your wishes, Caroline and I really appreciate it, we've just got home from quite a stressful day dealing with officious people on the phone on behalf of Caroline's aunt.
It's not easy dealing with death in normal circumstances but it is absolutely frustrating during covid lockdown.
Everything has to be done on the phone, I wish they could do all the form filling on line, it would make it much easier.
And so many of the people I have had to talk to were foreign with not too good a grasp of English.
The only people who understood what we were trying to do were the funeral directors.
Going for a shower now before bed, as tomorrow we have the care company to deal with.
We truly thank you all for helping us get through this difficult time.

Dear Nerys, it is a sad report today, sadly he passed away just before 6am yesterday morning. We are now having to help sort things for her aunty who is housebound.
Looks like our time is going to be quite full as there is so much to get sorted and the lockdown is getting in the way of it.

Just got home after Caroline's 91 year old uncle had a fall we had to wait for the paramedics to arrive and assess him before taking him and his wife into hospital.
