The Plane, The Plane

Hi Ron,

Sometimes a change is as good as a holiday.

Lovely looking kit, Tamiya do really great kits in my opinion and 1/48th is my favorite scale for aircraft.

What paint scheme are you going for?

Looking forward to some finished photos.

Cheers,
Stephen.

It was the Vice-Air Admiral’s plane that he got when in North Africa. Gen. Eisenhower had one too. The allies captured 38 of these aircraft and changed the markings, paint schemes too.

It was the Vice Air Marshall Harry Broadhurst, that flew Churchill.

He probably didn't fly in a Lysander because what I have read is
that they were very rough on landing.

Da Plane Da Plane next stop France and the troops.
Nice looking so far. I don't think my fingers would be able to do that work. Looks very small.

Not a boat, I must take a break and take to the skies. 1/48 scale packed with details.

Imagine Winston Churchill in one these little planes flying across the Channel afterD-Day to visit the British troops.
