The original version did have animation but the soft brass wore through and it stopped swinging the golf club. So when remaking it, a weathervane was more preferred than making the golfer move. We get strong winds ripping across the open ground, having the propeller is just fine.

It needs a bit of animation Ron, with a few drive rods and pinion gears you could make the golfers head spin around, mind not until it disappears up his rear end. Just thinking out aloud.
