Are your models interchangeable on your dolly/cart? You could lower this right into the water and retrieve it on here too!

I have more to add when I find the pictures.
    Edit
This one is resin coated before painting so yes it could be used directly into the water if there was wheeled access.
It is the frame/stand that I made to build the model on, I just added axles and wheels.
Bear in mind this is at least a 34kg Tug in sailing order.
    Edit
Another cart added that also started as a build stand.
This one also carries the Shannon.
The handle is shared between both carts and attached with an R clip

Hi Ron, No not far about 50 yds on our own club pond its when you are invited to another stretch of water sometimes can be a little awkward.
No l havent strapped them down not really thought about it but now you mention it l will throw some rubber bungies into the bottom of one of the boat cradles. Cheers Ron good idea.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have far to go from parking lot to the waters edge? Do you strap the vessel cradle to the wagon base?

Hi chaps, this is what l use to transport and launch my boats.
The trolly is from a garden supplys, l removed the original plastic top and made up a flat bed out of pine sheet from an old tv cabinet then edged it with a bit of 2x1.
the two wheeled trolly is a fishing trolly very handy the widewheels dont sink into loose ground or shingle.
the hook affair my design entirely unashamedly stole the idea from some where and made it up from a length of 20 mm galvanised steel conduit pipe using a pipe bender. works really well dont have to bend over quite as much to lift and launch. also it works on boats with a deep keel or no keel at all.
    Anyways stay safe, Jim.

Good idea. I also have a Mini 12 which was added to the CRYA class registry several years ago.

The hulls were manufactured by Mr. Frank Scott of Newington, Ontario. Frank was a professional big boat builder and had a long time interest in model sailboats. At this time the Mini 12 has a growing fleet in the eastern part of Ontario. With a length of 45 inches and a weight of about 15 pounds the Mini 12 has proven itself adept at conquering weeds which are a problem at a number of sailing sites.

Too launch it I use this device http://www.ec12.info/Boat%20Lift.htm

    Works great!

For the longest time I would have to get on my knees to take my models out of the pool at Spencer's boat pond & my knees started to not work , old age I guess so built this contraption to put model in pool & take it out & the best thing I can transport model to the pond . It's a old luggage carrier that has wheels & since I don't plan on taking any trips except to the pool might just build a boat carrier And launcher P/S every boat needs a name & the Pilot 40 now will be known as Lady Ga Ga .
