    A friend of mine has a small sailing boat, on a trip out of Abersoch he was unfortunate enough to lose his drop down dagger plate.
    He was unable to obtain a replacement so I made a new one.
    It is made of laminated iroko timber. Encased within each laminate is a strip of one inch square lead. It weighs in at about 80kg.
    After laminating up and taking to shape it was glassfibered and resin coated.
