Fairey Huntsman 31
Just started a week ago an enlarged Hunstman 28, sorry no earlier photos...phone camera ate them.....

Hi my name is Nick I joined a while ago I guess pre covid, I'm starting to build a Huntsman 31, I took some plans and enlarged then 10% so up to about 48".
What I'd like to.know is should a Huntsman have a slight visabke keel, my plans show one and they show boarding as such leaving a clear keel.
However all photos I've seen craft have no visible keel showing, just both sides of thr hull meeting at the centre line..........HELP!!!!!...🙂🙂🙂

I'll be popping up now and again, when I see something that I like and find intriguing, or I know I can help with a query.
In the meantime I've discovered a 'backdoor' to the site which enables me to view posted photos in super size and resolution and without the 'Login or register ...' banner - without logging in!!😉 (Don't tell Stephen 🙊)
Since I was relieved from my moderator duties I feel like I've got my life back 😀
Suddenly there's more time to do 'other stuff'.
BTW Seems I was the only one who did NOT volunteer to become a moderator!
I was suddenly shanghaied overnight 😮

Hi Mike and welcome.
As it's an inheritance I'm guessing it's a Precedent kit? If so what size is it, 34" (scale 1:11) or 47" (1:8)?
Have you got the build instructions as they are a fairly straightforward build?
I'm building one based on the Precedent design but scratch building it as I'm building it at a scale of 1:12 to match my other Fairey builds.
