    Vintage Model Works kit :
    My third kit from this London based company, I had a few issues but I'm very pleased to say that they really excelled themselves and everything was sorted very quickly.
    I've tried plastic & fibreglass kits but cannot get on with either. Here's hoping for a good summers sailing .😎

    Yes. I also prefer wood for hulls as plank on frame is easier for me and leaks less than plastic. But there are things you can do with ABS which wood will never do.
    Given my workspace being indoors I stay clear of polyester resin. Only use epoxy which works better with wood as a paint-on solution.
