Bristol channel pilot cutter. Chris Brown hull ( Cariad) very good sailor. four servos, 1 for rudder, 1 for main & topsail sails 1 for fore sails & one to wave the westermans hand. The hand is attached to a string the arm is a spring when the string is pulled spring tightens & the arm shots up. The westerman moves the tiller with his right hand & waves with his left. Sold on Ebay Β£220, Unfortunately had to make some room. (Motor: wind only) (7/10)

Here she is fully rigged. This has got me thinking ( dangerous) I could build another. Can’t find the plans at present. So having a clear out throwing 8 aircraft, 12 toy & 1 railway engine plans so far.

Yes a very good sailor in all weathers. With no external ballast. Just adjusting the sails to the weather no problems. Wish I had kept it now. ☹️

Nice picture of a pilot cutter, must have been breezy to have all those rolls in the mainsail to reef her down, and just the staysail, no jib.
