Bristol channel pilot cutter. Chris Brown hull ( Cariad) very good sailor. four servos, 1 for rudder, 1 for main & topsail sails 1 for fore sails & one to wave the westermans hand. The hand is attached to a string the arm is a spring when the string is pulled spring tightens & the arm shots up. The westerman moves the tiller with his right hand & waves with his left. Sold on Ebay £220, Unfortunately had to make some room. (Motor: wind only) (7/10)

    Here she is fully rigged. This has got me thinking ( dangerous) I could build another. Can’t find the plans at present. So having a clear out throwing 8 aircraft, 12 toy & 1 railway engine plans so far.

    Yes a very good sailor in all weathers. With no external ballast. Just adjusting the sails to the weather no problems. Wish I had kept it now. ☹️

    Nice picture of a pilot cutter, must have been breezy to have all those rolls in the mainsail to reef her down, and just the staysail, no jib.

    Yes that was one of my early ones 3rd or 4th can’t remember..
