A nicely made model what a shame fewer and fewer people are interested in these. So many nice models are being thrown away from deceased estates by relatives with no interest or appreciation of these beautiful objects... but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder and anything old is ignored by younger generations.

Well done for saving this one. It brings back lots of memories as she was mored in the Exeter(Devon)canal basin for many years as part of the now defunct Exeter Maritime Museum. Had a guided tour of the entire boat. I wish I had my camera back then. How about a refit blog? Regards Bill. ▲
