I like the Fletchers too Peter,👍
Have a 1/144 kit of one.
Would end up about as big or bigger than the 1/350 USS Enterprise, would look a bit odd together😮
Envy you your trip to Pearl (am turning green).
Knocked about a bit in my job but the only discussions with US firms re naval projects were in upstate New York, usually in 3 or 4 feet of snow! Not exactly Aloha weather😮
Guayaquil in Ecuador was much more comfortable😁
Are we going to see your Squadron in your harbour?
Cheers, Doug 😎
It's the Fletcher class Kidd I have Doug, and no, I didn't know that there were three USS Kidd's, but knew of RA Isaac Kidd, from my trip to Hawaii and pearl harbor some years ago. Would love a trip to Baton Rouge to see Fletcher class USS Kidd, on display there.😐
Sounds good Peter,👍
We'll designate them the North Western Squadron.
Kelly and Kidd will be deployed on point picket duty.
Amethyst as fleet runabout / messenger😉
Why aren't they in your Harbour?
Which Kidd?
Fletcher, Kidd class or Arleigh Burke?
Cheers, Doug 😎
BTW did you know that the three USS Kidds were all named after rear Admiral Isaac Kidd who died on the bridge of USS Arizona in Pearl Harbour?
Cheers, Doug 😎
Hi Ron,
Between us we could put together one hell of a Battle Fleet / Task Force!
I also have in the same scale-
USS Enterprise, HMS Hood, HMS King George 5th, HMS Prince of Wales,
HMS Ark Royal WW2 carrier, HMS Colossus carrier, HMS Exeter heavy cruiser,
HMS Illustrious (Harrier carrier), Type 45 destroyer,
KM Graf Zeppelin class carrier Peter Strasser (Commander of the Zeppelin force in WW1).
Apart from the type 45 we're a bit light on the destroyers though!
Could use a few subs for the outer screen as well.
Any offers Gents?
Cheers, Doug 😎
Excellent work Jan👍
I'm a naval buff myself, hope I can make as good a job of my 1/350 Revell Bismarck!
What propulsion and RC gear have you fitted?
Cheers, Doug 😎

Very impressive boats, well done.
I would like to see some more detailed photos if you have them.
