   Thank you. Yes, I understand that she was a very unmanageable ship due to the layout of the prop shafts and the props turned the opposite way to the British?
   I also understand that the torpedo tubes were moved inboard, as in their original configuration they were prone to being washed overboard in the rough Atlantic weather. (Originally designed for the 'smoother' Pacific).
   I had the option of building her in her 'St. Nazaire' configuration, but I think she was a much more interesting boat before her final refit.

   Lovely model of a famous, though I think a bit of an unfortunate ship. She was involved in three collisions with merchant ships, sinking at least one of them whilst in RN service but certainly redeemed herself by ramming and blowing up the drydock gates at St. Nazaire, thus denying it's use to the Germans for the rest of the war. Have to admit I remember that commando raid on St.Nazaire.
