She is scratch built based on a grp hull to 1/96 scale.
The boat is (more or less) as she would have been, immediately after entering service with the RN from the USA on lease/lend.
The majority of the build is from plans with plasticard and the finer details (torpedo tubes, guns) is 3D laser printed.
Colour scheme is my interpretation of Western Approaches camouflage.

Excellent Steve๐Ÿ‘ She looks suitably battle weary.
    Great video, great music ๐Ÿ˜€
We seem to have similar taste, liked the Dire Straits in your Hood vid as well๐Ÿ‘
Hope your Campbeltown never suffers the same fate as the Edmond Fitzgerald๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Yet another nice build Steve, particularly like the subtle weathering, and the colour you chose works very well, Question...what smoke units are you using on this boat and The Hood.๐Ÿ˜

Thank you Pete. I'm using Graupner 6v smokers in Campbeltown and Hood.

Lovely model of a famous, though I think a bit of an unfortunate ship. She was involved in three collisions with merchant ships, sinking at least one of them whilst in RN service but certainly redeemed herself by ramming and blowing up the drydock gates at St. Nazaire, thus denying it's use to the Germans for the rest of the war. Have to admit I remember that commando raid on St.Nazaire.

Thank you. Yes, I understand that she was a very unmanageable ship due to the layout of the prop shafts and the props turned the opposite way to the British?
I also understand that the torpedo tubes were moved inboard, as in their original configuration they were prone to being washed overboard in the rough Atlantic weather. (Originally designed for the 'smoother' Pacific).
I had the option of building her in her 'St. Nazaire' configuration, but I think she was a much more interesting boat before her final refit.
