Again a 1980's picture at Woodbridge, this time a scratch built small yacht from a free plan. Fixed sails, rudder only

Nerys, The Dolphin was sold to another club member when I changed to another model. I don't know if either boat is still around. The small yacht was built for my son and although rudder only was radio controlled so could be sailed solo. The Woodbridge Club went on to sail a specialist Southwold yawl which was free sailing. See the wmbc website for its history.
    Best wishes
    Geoff

Brian, you are showing us some nice boats that sailed at Woodbridge some years ago. Do either of them still exist? Fun sailing boats without RC, just a rudder to control them, and that not always being exactly determinable. Needs two of you really, one each side of the lake. Takes me back to my childhood with a pond yacht. Happy days!.

    Cheers, Nerys

Looks good these older models are works of art and some can be difficult to sail
