The hull was bought from Modell Marin in Sweden owned by Fredde Cederberg, the current Naviga European Champion. it is an ultra-light Carbon/Kevlar/Epoxy composite.

The VMSC was Founded in 1904 and still active today on Victoria Park in Hackney London E9
In 1907 the VMSC was one of the two societies exhibiting at the first Model Engineering Exhibition that was held at the Royal Horticultural Hall in London.

I race IC Multi boats in UK and European competitions. Nearly all the Endurance class (FSR-V) drivers use stick transmitters as the boats require precise sharp turning for the M shape course. However, in both Offshore and Hydro (FSR-H/O) the wheel tx is much more in evidence. Possibly due to the slower response required driving an oval course and the poorer turning of the surface drive boats.
In M class (Fast electric), most of the top drivers use wheel tx nowadays. Again a simple triangle course.

Facon 2 with Novarossi Mito 21M, CMB tuned pipe, tanks and running gear by Ian's Boats. First run at Brentwood lake. Running motor in on low nitro. This boat eventually won me the MPBA 2016 National Drivers Championship.

The Brentwood Model Yacht & Powerboat Club was founded on the 1st July 1988, with the main interest being model yachts.
In July 2013, on our 25th Anniversary, the club changed its name to the Brentwood Model Boat Club.
The new name was brought in to reflect that the clubs diverse association with all types & forms of model boating & not just confined to the yachting & power boat racing.
At the end of 2014, the club was split into two separate clubs. This was primarily to allow flexibility to each new club to run things independently, as they see fit, to suit our vastly different lake environments. Both clubs have retained a common name & association with each other, but are now known as Brentwood Model Boat Club (for old Scale Section) & Brentwood Model Yacht & Power Boat Club (for old Power & Yacht Sections).

The first iMBRA European FSR Endurance Championships will be held at Gyoparosfurdo Oroshaza Hungary in August 2017. This is a fantastic venue with a waterpark and pool overlooking the racing lake.
