My motor has a 5mm shaft. I need to source a 60mm dia prop, then prop shaft and coupler.
I like the roller bearing type shafts at Deans Marine but I'm Getting confused as to shaft dia's and connecting to propellor, Help please!

Just started my first timber model boat, will be converting it to radio controlled.
Still waiting for some electronics, to turn up, motor, ESC, battery, then it will get serious. still have to source propeller and shaft when I find out motor shaft size.
I've added a few photos of my barge I scratch built while waiting. It's Scotty scale and my little helper, Grandson Aiden, can't wait to see it in the water.

I need to get an electric motor and digital speed controller which gives it a realistic movement of an old steam Sanson tugboat, any ideas or tips would be appreciated. I will start a build blog soon.

I,m in Australia and about to start my first ever timber model "sanson Tugboat" Radio controlled, I'm also making a barge for it to tow, My first question is what paint type should I use, to seal out water.
Acrylic, oil based or urethane. the Barge will be painted in colours such as waterline mark etc. the Sanson Tugboat will be clear to see planking.
