HI there. Just noticed your enquiry about the RTTL. I can give you a staggaring amount of information which was forwarded to me by a chap who lives on the Rock of Gebraltar. (If he sees this I would like him to make contact with me again because his address details are buried in about 2000 emails and he asked for plans.) in the meantime, I will post this information on my website in the near future at www.slopesoaringaustralia.com You will be amazed at what I have. Go to my website in about a week - it will take a few days to sort out everything. Cheers, Ian.

Hi.
I am wanting advice on putting an electric brushless motor Into my brother's 36" Vosper RTTL (built In 1960) which I am rebuilding for him. I am leaning towards 1 pf 2 motors from Hobby King.
2848SL 3900kv Brushless Inrunner (WaterCooled)
or
3660SL 3060kv Brushless Inrunner (WaterCooled)
The original engine was diesel powered with a 3-bladed, 40mm propeller which I still have and wanted to use.
I figure that a 70amp SC would suffice. I would like to get about 20 minutes cruising speed out of the battery. Would nMh batteries do or should I go for Lipos?
Can anyone steer me In the right direction?
Thanks, Ian Downunder
