I am not sure of the price ranges - sorry.
Budget is not a problem however I am probably not requiring specialist products.
Motor which will fit easily into the direct drive prop. Last motor, which was not too acceptable used a burglar alarm battery. Got very hot. Need a way of charging.
Radio control and speed control again possibly a step above budget.
Advice on painting would be useful.

I have an Aerokit crash tender. Built for me by my father when I was 10 I am now 62. I uprated In 25 years ago for my lads. Needs a good review for the Grand Kids.
Please could I have a 'straight' answer to questions. Not well If you want to type answers.

I have a (The smaller of the two I believe) fire boat. Made for my 10th birthday by my mother in 1960. I fitted radio and a basic speed control for my children's use in the 80s. it is now due for a re-fit for Grand Children. Sorry but unable to decipher the jargon on this site. Not looking for speed (as in videos) but just want advice on a reliable electric motor. Hope not to have to put in cooling. Has a single prop. Advice on battery and how to charge. Also radio and speed control. Where I may purchase would be a help. Apologies for lack of knowledge
