I probably like wood because I'm a carpenter by trade, but I will give Plastic a try.

I'm a bit wary of plastic I suppose I am a wood man but I have my I on a plastic hulled model on eBay. what's it like to use? the main advantage I suppose is it's smooth surface for painting.

Hi all hoping to get into two projects in the coming weeks and was wondering what everybody's thoughts are about building slips such as the hobbyzone Professional Building Slip, the hobbyzone one looks much better and more useful than the billings one but I would like to here your thoughts on them or if anybody has a large hobbyzone slip for sale I will be happy to discuss it.
