hey Jim, as far as my knowledge goes for the rigs, a genua is a 'straight sail which pull a little further backwards than the mast.
a jib stays in front of the mast when moving from ps to sb-side.
A blister is like a genua, but is curves upwards also , so it looks like a spinnaker.
( it also has to do with the m2 of the sails itself by the way)
so to control the blister you need
a servo to move from sb- side
a servo to extent or pull the sheet itself
a servo to extent or pull the fwd part of the sail to make it more round.
( for the genua you only need the first two servos)
I hope there are sailers who can give the correct names for the items that I described but I did my best π)
