guys/gals - wheres the best place/wire to situate a safety fuse please?
id also heard its a good idea to keep one of these as far apart from each other as poss: esc or receiver away from battery or motor?

hello all and thanks for the warm welcome 😀
ive nearly finished my first boat, im not a skilled modeller like some of you guys but ive found i love 'doing up' neglected old models - began with this one bought just before the pandemic started to worry us all (ive 8 more now, im addicted 😛) its for my old mom, hoping to get them both out for its maiden voyage christmas day!
ive packed battery and servo with supportingly cut polystyrene jammed in tight - hoping for no fires! and although lipos and brushless are better i want to use what ive got - can anyone see any problems with my proposed set up please? and any good ideas for a flagpole for this lovely old sea commander?
