Good afternoon fellow modellers. I have finally! Completed the refurb on INGA IV, the painting, glazing, rigging, electrics, sails, crew and cocktails are finally poured. Until I find something else to add. Just the maiden voyage to plan, that’s when our flooded, frozen and gale swept pond is back to normal. Here a some photos I have just taken, a video will follow asap.

Oh what a wonderful job, brilliant piece of work and completed so quickly. You should be so pleased and proud and I hope that you have many hours of enjoyment on the lake, perhaps some videos to spur the rest of us on.
I am thinking that when I wet mine for the maiden voyage the maiden will be an `bloody old maid`. My one reservation is I would hesitate to go sailing with that crew, I think it could be classified as motley. Hope to see her on the water soon regards ChrisG ▲

8kg seems quite light Rogal - hope you have left space far enough below the waterline for more lead, it would be a shame to spoli her beautiful lines with external weight!🤔🤔

Hi luckyduck. Just took a weight measure of the INGA IV, from what I can gather she is approx 8 kg including crew, I have a feeling she will need some ballast. There is a weight in the hull “glassed in” when I bought her so she may have the correct balance already. I’ve not had her in water yet and have plenty of lead off cuts. So it will not be difficult to trim her when the time comes. Thanks for all your interest, it makes the boat modelling extra special.Roger.

Right down to details such as the lady with the generous 'buswam', scarcely contained by what my German friends would call a BH.
