Work on the cabin continues, getting the centre window in the right place took a lot of measuring lets hope it is right when the two front side windows are fitted.!

So I recently obtained a partially built 1/16th Model Slipway Tamar lifeboat.
This is my first build of a vessel this big having previously built an Aero-naut Mowe 2.
It wont be a blow by blow account but I shall try to put fairly regular updates on my progress.
If anyone can help with the correct size of lettering for the transom name and where I can obtain wheelhouse name plates from I would be very grateful.

Work on the Y-boat continues, the Speedline Models Y boat is much better looking in my opinion so if they do become available again I may well "upgrade" to one of those.

Hi MartinS.
Sorry if I can't help you but I wanted to ask you a question. The internal layout is very interesting. I saw you put five fuses. Optimal. It seems to me that two are between the ESC and the two motors and they are 15 amps, if I'm not mistaken. What do the other three protect? Where are they placed? Sorry but I didn't understand all the connections and components, I only recognized the ESC and the receiver. ▲

I hate primer it shows up all those little imperfections! back to filling and sanding we go, perhaps it will teach me to be more accurate when cutting out vac formed parts! 🤣
