    Today we have drilled out the holes for both Propshaft and rudder, 6 and 4mm respectively. It is best to drill around 0.5mm more than specified in my opinion, as filing of that amount is otherwise necessary.
    Attached are photos of drilling and the finished product with rudder and shaft loosely installed.

    I also recommend drilling a small pilot hole, of 2 or 3 mm to ensure the larger drill bit drills straight and accurately.

    The next stage is cutting out the deck ( the hatched areas which I have circled in the image). These will be the superstructure and servo access points.

    Kit Build bought from Krick. Formerly a Robbe Kit but now known as Romarin by Krick.

    72cm length with a 600 motor ( eventually!)

    This where I get out the self-stick velcro pads (fabric side) and cut them to size to line the tops of the stand. Just an old habit if mine.

    RodC, unsure but the battery is around 600g as it is a 6v Lead Acid as per Kricks recommendation.

    72cm=28-3/8" for our America-anchored friends.
    How much will it weigh with battery installed ??
    A respectable L.O.A., easily transportable

    Today we started the project by constructing the stand, it is made out of Laser cut plywood and is therefore a very precise cut. Once the parts were removed we sanded down and glued together. It forms a well constructed and sturdy stand for the boat.

    Not an exciting start, but Step 0 is always required!
