Floating Light house

It's -15 celsius, wind chill -25, here in Hamilton Canada & I think I'll start working on this floating lighthouse , 34'' length with a 7'' beam . it will not be a light house after I get finished with her .It will be a R/C cargo ship I hope . I got this model from a friend in the summer & just couldn't get around to her.

Looks like a lightship on the West Coast of B.C. which we saw during our Alaska Cruise.

Yes defo a lightship. if built as such you will be able to protect your fellow sailors from underwater obstructions!

Added some paint

I haven't been working on the floating light house for a while .Took a long time to fix the hull as it was in poor condition finally fix as best as possible & put some paint on her . added motor mount stuffing box & I'm quit proud of my cabin holder to hull used a magnet from a P/C that had broke down .Man those magnets are real magnetic . just wanted to add Lancaster it was on the tarmac & would be flown down to Washington for a Royal air-force reunion later in April After it flew down We had a major snow storm here in Ontario so she was stuck in Washington for a few extra days

Floating Light house

Continued with floating light house & decided to just build a R/C model. So finished up the running gear added a couple of ladders & 10 port holes plus a couple of railings .Still need windows yet & still waiting for water in Spencers pool in Burlington Ontario to do the shake down try out . So happy model boat sailing this summer.

Just realised I've been misreading this I kept seeing "just a gravy boat now "I will blame it on the chemicals and not dotage.
