I have a Spektrum DX4C that I use for my fast electrics, and my Robbe San Remo, which is fast-ish. Only way to go once you start hitting some speed. It’s a 4 channel transmitter, but I’ve only used it on 2 channel applications so far.

I have a Spektrum two channel pistol grip with a fully waterproof receiver just for my Club 500 racer Ed, and I luv it, much easier to use on a fast boat that twin stick, turns are so much quicker to react with the wheel, beats the twin stick competitor every time😊

Regarding our USPS, it's funny I have had some things come much faster than expected! Only two times in the past two months have I received delay notices but they got here within 2 -3 days. It's our taxes at work Ed, I keep supporting those workers that face covid everyday. Do you use the email notice service? It's great and I get daily emails on my package status. I always have about 4 items either coming or going and I like to track them all. Good luck with your builds, they look like fun! Joe😎 ▲

It's a pretty decent looking controller!
All I did was put in some Double A Batteries!
Turned it on!
But, I need to order a Servo!
I'm not sure if the Christ Craft model.
Will use a standard servo.
Or an S9 servo!
My model is delayed!
So, I can't tell which servo to purchase!
That remind me!
I need an ESC as well!
But, will order in due time!
For now, I'm off to my 3D printer Blog!

You can probably use a full size servo if you mount it way over to one side. There isn't a lot of room between the underside of the aft deck and the hull.

That's the first thing I thought of Doug, so contacted Royal Mail who inform me that they do not divulge such information, not a birthday either, that's St George's day, so as you say, it could be a scam, have checked all my PayPal payments, and the payments from my bank account and nothing is outstanding🙄

Nope☹️ Unfortunately not. A curious story! A few days after ordering via Amazon/Paypal I received two messages from Amazon on the same day, within three hours. First said 'Payment received, item has been despatched' and quoted the delivery window. Second a few hours later said, 'Your payment has been refunded. Reason; Item not available.' Checked on Amazon and seller sites to see 'Currently unavailable.' When I ordered it was 'In stock' with delivery window quoted. Sent Email to seller - No answer🙄 Checked Paypal account and read 'Your payment has been refunded before it was made.' It don't get much stranger than that do it!🤔 Tried a few other leads, all dead ends☹️ So hacienda dat!!😭 Cheers, Doug 😎 ▲

That's pretty bad news Ed, I am in the middle of a situation with paypal, I have had a refund given to me by a return of a faulty item, the refund shows on my account, but not on my balance, very difficult to contact paypal, can't get them by phone, the only way I have got my messages to them, is by 'chat line', they say they will check, and somebody will contact me, but then they don't reply, very frustrating, hope you have better luck.🤞

Contact PayPal and see what they can do. In the interim if you have a US tracking number ask your mail carrier if they can help. UPS can track it too FedEx is another story in itself. Good luck- BTW Ebay (US) has a couple of more listed...

Yes there is Rick,
When PayPal emails you with the transaction confirmation they will also state the deadline for raising a complaint and requesting a refund. Usually few months so Ed is OK for the moment. He should check the confirmation mail before waiting tooooo long. I have a similar issue with my HMS Vanguard kit. Delivery was quoted as up to 11th August. That's today🤔 Cheers, Doug 😎 ▲

Yay, My Christ Craft Sports Fisherman Model.
Is on it's way!
It was in a facility for about 1 month!
The postal service is now moving it in my direction!
I'm not sure when it will arrive.
But, it is on it's way!
And to think I almost put in a PayPal Claim!
I actually got in contact with the Merchant.
I purchased the model from!
I think I made him Panic!
As I threaten to put in a claim with PayPal!
But, now my Package is on it's way to me!
So, who's at fault the Postal Service!
That's Who!
Never the less, It's on it's way!
Looks as if I'll have a boat to build.
In the not to distant future!..........👍
Is on it's way!

This model is from the early 50's!
It's in real good shape!
The last owner kept in in very good conditions!
The kit that is!
I think the Kit has more value unbuilt!
The kit makes for a very good collectors item!

Hot Dog you got her!! Man, I’ll bet you’re relieved. I ordered an old Robbe Jackson off of EBay, price was right, it was in France. Once it was shipped, tracking stopped after it made it out of the country, didn’t hear a thing until almost 3 weeks later, when it showed up. Alls well that ends well!!

Great News - I'm guessing it's a Marx kit based on the molded-in color plastic. The good news on that front is the tooling wasn't worn out yet. Later on more of the detail on small parts was lost and there would be a lot of plastic flash that had to be trimmed away. At any rate it's a nice kit and will be a good looking model. Like the others, am looking forward to your build. 👍
