Hi Derek, You Never Know but just turned seventy and hard to concentrate. I am going to try and put all my concentration into my Fairmile D which i want to finish for the spring or early summer so i can get something in the water this year. I would love to see it finished either by myself or another enthusiast because i love to watch older sail boats on the water.
What a pity that you have decided to give up Jon, especially as you seemed to be making such an excellent job of it. I am much too old to take on any more models but good luck with your sale. I would suggest that if there are no takers at a reasonable price just hang on to it - the enthusiasm may return. Derek.
I have come to a decision and because i have realised that building Katie is way beyond my expertise i am putting her up for sale and open to offers, if you are interested you can see how far i have got on the build blog i started (Building Katie) a Sarik models Gaff rig Pilot cutter, i have some parts that i have purchased and fitted an electric motor, propshaft and 45mm brass prop. Northamptonshire. Only for sale on here only at the moment. Cheers Jon (Muskrat)
