I’m not sure what I paid but it was just short of £40 if I remember rightly. Certainly a lot more than £9.75

Thanks for your input. The one post by Graham for the police launch looks a possibility. They have gone up a lot since you built one. The cheapest seems to be £40 and that is with no fittings or accessories. I think you said you paid £9.75!😀

Have a look at the Eeze Bilt plans several different types of boat can cut up the plans and stick it on the balsa wood to sand it the line Yours Brian

I built an HA Kits model with my 8 year old grandson. There is a blog here:

We assembled the hull and cabin from the pre-cut ply in one day using superglue - without getting fingers stuck! He really enjoyed that day.

I did the painting and fitting out with motor and radio gear largely without his help as I think that would have been a step too far for him.

He does enjoy sailing it though!

There are a range of different boats available from HA kits.
