I’m not sure what I paid but it was just short of £40 if I remember rightly. Certainly a lot more than £9.75

Thanks for your input. The one post by Graham for the police launch looks a possibility. They have gone up a lot since you built one. The cheapest seems to be £40 and that is with no fittings or accessories. I think you said you paid £9.75!😀

Have a look at the Eeze Bilt plans several different types of boat can cut up the plans and stick it on the balsa wood to sand it the line Yours Brian

Hi, Can anyone recommend a model boat kit suitable for a 9year old to build as his 1st model. He wants to be able to sail it. He has sailed my 34" Fire boat and now got the 'bug'! I'm his grandad and unfortunately I don't live nearby in order to help. Nothing too expensive please. He hasn't built any models before. Thanks in advance. Cheers Duncan
