I use 750 motors with 320amp esc's in both the Baby Bootlegger and the Sea Commander. No issues. The motor is a basic brushed motor from a local electronics store running with a 7.2v / 5000 nimh battery in the Bootlegger and a gel battery in the Sea Commander.

    Thanks Nick.

I took look a look online and have seen a few speed controls that will handle high current loads. It's just that issue of the manufacturer's recommendation for a specific motor size, usually 540 size that scares me off.

I will be using a single 750 motor teamed up to a 320amp ESC, which I've been reliably informed will be up for the job.....not tested yet.๐Ÿคž

I have an old Veron Marlin Cruiser that I have an 850 motor that has been sitting around waiting to be set-up. What did you guys use as an electronic speed control for this motor size? I am tempted to revert back to an old rheostat control that I yanked from a Tamiya RC Car I still have from the 90's.

Might be worth talking to Dave at Prestwich, heโ€™s been very good with advice.

My Perkasa is a little larger than your Huntsman so I went for BL10A on this page with 3S LiPo for the prop Iโ€™m running.
