    As well as the methods now listed, much depends on the size and especially weight of your boats.

    If in any doubt about damage to your boat or even more importantly, - think in terms of a two-man job; or possibly ask a younger or fitter model boat club member for assistance.

    Good evening Stephen, my preferred method is to use 2 vee belts( old machine drive belts) ,as I can lift boats of 2ft up to 5ft off their stands and into the water, and out of the water back onto their stands.
