HI Jonathan
Not a complete novice then so restoration should be well within your skillset.
Looking at the second pic I now realise there is a raised coaming at the front which may provide a clue to the original.
Could you post a few more pics, you can post up to 4 with each post, possibly showing a full side view, stern view and bow view as this is not clear from the pics.
I was thinking in terms of a Veron model. Perhaps Mike C could also post some pics of his model to allow comparison.
I have old model mags going back years and will have a look to see if anything seems similar. Extra pics would certainly help with this.
Cheers 😀

Thanks for all your replies guys. As for my modelling experience well, I'm 58 & grew up with keil kraft, aerokits & veron. Merco 61's were the norm & taycoll had just started to produce electric motors. Mcgregor, remcon & if you could afford it graupner were the best in proportional radio gear. I've built most of the aerokits boat range, the sea queen being the biggest. I also built a keilkraft chief glider, veron concord & numerous control line models.
I stopped building 40 years ago when I worked offshore & now I have the time again & grandchildren to Impress !
I have a fully built sea queen ready to install the electrics this mystery boat which I'm keen to get in the water. I like many of you have a fascination with raf crash tenders, rttl's & the like as my late Father was plucked out of the channel by one of them during the war.
I have sent various messages to different people trying to find out which model this could possibly be but as yet no leads. Any help would be muchly appreciated.

HI bigjs47
Looks like a hull for an Ic engine fast run around/race boat.
If you look at http://www.modelboats.co.uk/news/article/focus-on-scale/487 there is a picture of a very similar model.
As you are a newbie it would help to know your previous modelling skills before suggesting the best way forward. 😀

If it is an rttl hull, kitshack models produce a 56 inch kit, and could probably supply you with a set of plans which you could scale down to suit your hull. They may also be able to scale you down a set of their precut plywood cabin parts as well. Worth a call or email I would think.
