I bought, in Germany, some schottel drives from them, no problems.
What I learned from parts I ordert in England is that customs is difficult and taxes have to be paid by the receiver, before the parts will be passed through customs. This took some weeks.
Brexit didn't make it easier for us.

At the end all worked out fine but it took a couple of weeks.

I bought a stern-drive off them, albeit before Brexit, and had no problems. They were also very helpful over a query I had. Someone else on here recently bought a stern-drive off them as well.

Been thinking of buying one of their water-jets for a future project.

Sounds like a bad translation of 'abgeschlossen' which means completed.
Whereas 'geschlossen' just means closed😉
Did you get a 'confirmation of order', in German 'Auftragsbestätigung'' which is the usual form of simply acknowledging receipt of an order.
Most important did they confirm despatch of your order with a Tracking Number?
Some time ago Rowen (also in Canada) tried to order a jet drive from Bauer.
Their site would not accept a Canadian delivery address and his repeated requests for info were never answered.
In desperation he asked me if I could contact them and find out what the problem was.
My Emails and phone calls were also never answered.
I even tried to order the part, for delivery here in Munich, to be able to forward it to Rowen.
Again no response.☹️

Got word from the company, everything is fine. Ot was an issue with the translation. Closed just indicates the order has been recived.
